2 New Mini Kits and an Alpha Pack

Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying the beginning of the fall season. It is starting to get a little cooler here in Florida but not much. Our cool weather will most likely start more in November. I bet you are all getting in the swing of things now that the school year has begun. I know feel like chickens running around with out little heads cut off trying to keep up with all the homework and after school activities. My little girls is in 2nd grade and has quite a bit of homework every night and I have been helping her with that which has left me a bit less time for designing so you may see my new items come out a bit less frequently now that the school year has begun. She also is in a hip hop cheerleading group. This will be her third year but now she is also in the competition group too. This should be fun! She also is in Girl Scouts for her 2nd year and of course religion classes. She will make her first communion this year. We are very excited!! Also this Monday she will start Violin lessons. I played when I was younger and she is just jumping out of her skin with excitement. She has been wanting to take lessons for over a year now. Now they are finally offered at her school. Yippee!!!!

On another note, Sept 1st, I was in another car accident. I am okay and so are my kiddos. It is my third accident since 2006. None of them were my fault and all the other people involved were issued the tickets. But this one, the other person who hit me is lying about what happened to her insurance company and while the police officer issued her a ticket, her insurance company is dragging their feet on this. My car still isn’t fixed, I need a new car seat and it is just frustration all around. I started seeing my chiropractor again for my injuries. We will have to wait and see how this will all turn out. Well enough of me chatting. I know that when I get newsletters from some of my favorite designers, they talk to me a bit in their newsletters and I feel like I know them so much better so I thought I would share some of what has been going on in my life with you. I wouldn’t be where I am without you, so thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

I recently participated in the DSA Designers Apprentice Contest and I have two mini kits this week along with a matching alpha for one of them. So if you did not get the chance to get them at DSA, they are in my store now. One is Bloomin Spring with a matching alpha pack. Four different alphas in the alpha pack and then I have Summer in the City.

Just a reminder that if you sign up for my newsletter to the right,
I always give out freebies or coupons to s
ay Thank You!!

Here is some inspiration for you from my wonderful CT girls!

I will also be participating in Shabby Pickle’s October collab so look for that the first week of October.
Here is a sneak peek for you.

I have some ideas for my next kit and hopefully soon I can squeeze in another template pack for you. If you have any ideas for a certain kind of kit or template pack you would like me to make, I can try my very best to make them. You can email me at ginabarnaba@yahoo.com with your requests and I will set up a list and see what I can do.

I also have two more weeks at my guest spot at Ginger Scraps. I have an exclusive template pack there called Filler Up so if you haven’t grabbed it yet, you may want to before my guest spot is over.

Facebook!!! Whoo hoo, yes, I am still trying to reach my goal of 1000 fans and we are getting super close to reaching our first goal of 500 fans. So if you know of anyone who you think would like my style have them friend my fan page here: Lilacs in Bloom and have them leave a comment in reference to the contest and when I reach the 500 fan mark, I will give away to a random fan a $50 coupon to my store. I will do this for every 100 more fans I get until we reach 1000. You do not have to comment more than once and you do not have to be a new fan. You just need to comment about the contest so I can know who is participating. Then I will have a drawing. Perhaps I might even put a video of how we picked the winners on You Tube so you can see. I think that might just be tons of fun!

Well, hope you are have a super fantastic weekend with your families and I will see you soon!

Hugs,
Gina

Hi Gina,

I'm commenting in response to your Facebook contest. I will also post on Facebook as I'm not a new fan ;-) Thanks for the chance to win! :)

The new kits are adorable! I'm so sorry to hear about your run of bad luck with the accidents. I know not having a car is a pain, not to mention the frustrations of dealing with liars and insurance companies. Will pray things get resolved quickly.
